Alex, born in 1972

 

I am a man of the Woods, finally! cabinetmaker. Technical advisor for 

a large Swiss company. Supplier of product for wood.

 

Minerals have always intrigued me. And, since my young age. Collecting stones along the roads during our walks in the mountains.

 

Then, during our vacation in Spain 1985. It is playing around the House, that I dug up my first group of quartz, 10 x 10 cm about... It was the beginning of a beautiful passion...

 

Now, as soon as the weather is good, from April to October, I take my

 bag and my tools. With my friends, we start in the mountains to the

 quest of the wonders of our Alps: Smoky quartz, Adular, Hematite, 

Fluorite and manyothers.  We have not always lucky. But we know to

appreciate the goodtimes, some that they are. Even though we always

 dream of finding the Grail.

 

During our Holidays travels, I always manage to bring back some mimerals and more. Good numbers of collectors, who like minerals, they find on my table and their delight. You will find me in some minerals show in switzerland: Lausanne, Disentis, 

Basel.  But  you find me more easily at home

 

As I said as an aside, I'm cabinetmaker. And it is also my passion to 

manufacture furniture. When I havetime, I make showcases for

minerals. Custom, and the taste of each client. I do this next to my work. Youwill find more information under my page: Furniture.
